Jio 5G launch in 75 cities
On October 22 last year, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani launched 5G and Wi-Fi services in the spiritual town of Nathdwara, and dedicated it to Lord Shrinath. With the latest launch, Jio True 5G is now available in a total of 75 cities and towns across India.
Starting January 7, Jio users in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer and experience Unlimited Data at up to 1Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.
People and businesses in these cities will now be able to take advantage of high-speed connectivity and low-latency. The services will also open new growth opportunities in the areas of tourism, manufacturing, SMEs, e-governance, education, healthcare, agriculture, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, and IT.
“We are thrilled to commence Jio True 5G services in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Soon, the True 5G network will expand rapidly across the state. Jio is the operator of choice in Rajasthan. Currently, Jio is the only 5G network in the state and this launch is a dedication to the love and support showered by the people of Rajasthan. We are grateful to the hon’ble Chief Minister and Rajasthan government for extending their support in digitising Rajasthan and taking it forward,” said a Jio spokesperson.
